Why should you learn Greek?

What is the oldest written language in Europe? You guessed it? It’s Greek! The earliest written evidence of the Greek language dates from around 1450 BC.

The Greek language is the language of Homer, the great philosophers, who influenced so much of the European civilization, the dramatists who modeled the theater in the form known today. In a few words, it is the language that has contributed to the birth and shaping of Western civilization.

Although their Greek is not really Greek spoken today, the Greek language has not changed so dramatically.

In the Greek courses, we will see that its evolution was a gradual, normal, logical change over the 34 centuries.

In case you want to start learning Greek, well, I have good news for you. You already know a lot of words in this language. It is estimated that the Romanian language borrowed at least several thousand words from the Greek language. These words of Greek origin are used in all fields.

Do you like extreme sports or volleyball on a dream beach? In this wonderful country you can find everything you want.

They will make you feel more than welcome, especially if you can get along with them.

The food

You will eat many traditional and tasty foods, with super fresh ingredients, which you will always remember with a touch of indulgence, accompanied by the ingenious and mysterious desserts of the Orient. You will get to enjoy these goodies in the taverns, even on the seashore.

Still haven’t convinced you to learn Greek yet? From the moment you start doing it, a new world will open to you: the mythology of the ancient Greeks, the literature and poetry awarded with numerous Nobel prizes, the music that is extremely dear to us, and the possibility to speak in the mother tongue with your Greek friends.

But why learn Greek if you only visit this country for about 10 days or at most a month?

Because you want to be a true traveler, not just a tourist and because you really want to enjoy everything that a trip offers you. You certainly do not want to spend this time, feeling like a stranger in a foreign land; you want to enjoy every moment dedicated to the land of Greece.

And to succeed in this endeavor, you have to speak their heart and to speak to their hearts you have to speak to them in their language (Nelson Mandela). Learn a little Greek and you will find the easiest way to their heart.

Are Greek courses difficult? Not at all. And that’s because you already know a lot of Greek words, and the pronunciation is extremely easy.
